Southern Belle

I am currently rereading Gone with the Wind (alright, that's a lie: I am reading it for the first time) and enjoying it thoroughly. But all this talk of crinoline dresses and emerald green bows that match Scarlett O' Hara's eyes (the heroine of the book, if you don't know) has got me in the mood for some ball gowns!

Although some may yell at me for posting this rather quincienera-like dress on my blog, I have to say that it's chic in its own cobalt blue way. Only for fans of the movie!

It shocks and pains me to know that some people gauge everything by looks and don't choose to read on, not fearing their ultimate demise by, say, a few 100 more pages then they're used to. Anyhow, I hope this encourages you to read! And if not read, then at least watch the movie! IT'S WORTH IT PEOPLE.
